FAQs

  • Concerns over kava’s safety, particularly in regards to liver health, were first noted in a study in Germany and Switzerland over 15 years ago. These studies were done without distinguishing kava’s two varieties, noble kava and tudei kava.

New research found tudei kava to contain a compound (Flavokawain B) that is toxic to liver cells, and found noble kava to contain virtually none of that liver damaging compound.

We source only 100% premium noble kava for our kava beverages for quality and safety. Our kava is also tested to insure there are no contaminates, just pure noble Fijian kava root.
